Science 8-3 Began Chapter 2

Discussed:

- 5 major oceans
- 4 factors which formed oceans

- began discussing in detail tectonic plates, volcanic action erosion and glaciation

- origins of Ocean water

- 5 components of ocean floor: 1. Mid-atlantic ridge

next day begin discussing 2. trenches, 3. abyssal plains 4. Continental margins and 5. continental slopes and shelf

Students are asked to read page 38, 40, 41, 42, and 43 for homework ;-)
